Road accident kills man in Co Leitrim
25/06/2006 - 16:07:12A man in his sixties is dead following a road traffic accident in Co Leitrim.
The man was riding a motorcycle which was involved in a collision with a car at 12.10pm this afternoon at Woodbrook near Carrick-on-Shannon.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, the female driver of the car received minor injuries.
Meanwhile, Gardaí in Kerry are appealing for witnesses to a separate motorcycle crash this morning in which two men lost their lives.
They were involved in a collision with a car on the N21 road between Castleisland and Abbeyfeale just after 6am this morning.
One man, who is believed to be the driver of the car, is being treated in for his injuries in hospital.
All three men are understood to be foreign nationals.
