Over 100 holidaymakers stranded at Cork Airport
24/06/2006 - 20:07:22Over 100 passengers have been left stranded after a plane due to travel from Cork Airport to the Canaries experienced technical problems.
The flight was to leave Cork at 12.10pm today for Las Palmas, but has still not departed.
Cork Airport has confirmed that an engineer is to arrive at 11pm tonight to inspect the plane, and until then passengers are being accommodated at local hotels.
