Celtic seal Riordan deal
23/06/2006 - 13:32:08Celtic have completed the signing of Derek Riordan from Hibernian on a three-year deal with the option of a fourth year.
The 23-year-old striker had already reached a pre-contract agreement to join the Scottish champions when his current deal expired in October, meaning he would have been unable to play for the club until January.
But Celtic bosses have successfully negotiated his release from Hibernian to allow him to begin the season with his new club.
