Man dies in hospital after Dublin city centre assault
23/06/2006 - 07:42:14A 27-year-old man has died in hospital from injuries he sustained in an assault in Dublin city centre at the weekend.
The man was attacked on O'Connell Street in the early hours of Sunday morning and died in Beaumont Hospital last night.
The perpetrator has not been caught, despite the large number of garda security cameras in the area.
Detectives investigating the case say they want to speak to three men who they believe witnessed the attack.
