Lisa tonight became the fifth contestant to be evicted from the Big Brother house.

The announcement was twice delayed because of a technical hitch that prevented host Davina McCall from being able to talk to the house.

The 27-year-old upholsterer looked momentarily stunned then smiled broadly as she hugged her housemates.

The house heard the crowd outside loudly chanting her name as they waited for the eviction announcement.

The feisty Mancunian was up for the public vote along with Welsh beauty Imogen, software developer Mikey and wannabe footballer’s wife Nikki.
