Pair quizzed following massive cocaine seizure

Two foreign nationals were being questioned today after a big drugs seizure in the North.

They were detained at Belfast International Airport yesterday afternoon where cocaine with an estimated street value of £1m (€1.46m) was recovered.

The pair, who were travelling on German passports, were about to board a flight to Luton.

The PSNI say the seizure was one of the biggest ever in the North and was probably destined for distribution in Europe and possibly other continents.
