Doherty cleans up for solo album
16/06/2006 - 12:10:02Troubled Pete Doherty reportedly checked himself into rehab in a bid to relaunch his career.
The Babyshambles singer is determined to clean up at last, and after a stint being treated for drug addiction, he is now busily recording a solo album at a studio in Portugal in a new state of sobriety.
But producer Jake Foir, who is working on Doherty's new project, says he will believe the turnaround when he sees it.
Foir says: "Yes, I'm doing this record, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions."
