HSE to employ 30 workers to help fight abuse of elderly
15/06/2006 - 16:17:46The Health Service Executive is to employ 30 new care workers to help combat abuse of the elderly in the community.
It follows recommendations of a new report which reveals that some older people are neglected or abused in their homes.
The HSE is to begin recruiting the 30 new Elder Abuse Officers immediately.
