Manchester marks 10th anniversary of massive IRA bomb

A memorial service is taking place at Manchester Cathedral today to mark the 10th anniversary of the IRA bomb that devastated the city in June 1996.

Nobody was killed in the attack, but around 200 were injured.

The bomb also caused extensive damage to Manchester city centre.

Today’s memorial is being attended by victims of the blast, as well as political and religious leaders.
