O’Sullivan hopeful about Geordan Murphy’s fitness

Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan has said he is still hoping Geordan Murphy will be fit for Saturday's second test against New Zealand.

The full-back is nursing an Achilles tendon strain following last Saturday's 34-23 defeat to the All Blacks.

O'Sullivan has named only six replacements for this weekend's tie as he awaits a final report on Murphy's fitness.

"He's training on it at the moment, but we just want to make sure it doesn't flare up," O'Sullivan said.
