Dragon 'pleased' with workover programme
12/06/2006 - 11:21:42Oil company Dragon has said a workover of well Z60/66 on the Zhdanov field has been successful.
The field is located in the Cheleken Contract Area, off the coast of Turkmenistan.
Well Z60/66, on the Zhdanov 60 platform, was completed in Zones 8 and 9, and was tested at a rate of 350 barrels of oil per day. Prior to the workover the Well Z60/66 was not on production.
Dragon chairman Hussain M. Sultan said: “The results of the workovers on the Zhadanov Field have been encouraging to date…We will continue with our planned workover programme, with the next activity to be conducted on the LAM Field.”
