Holidaymakers urged to avail of European Health Insurance Card
11/06/2006 - 11:06:47Holidaymakers are being told to make sure they pack their European Health Insurance Card before they leave the country.
Card-holders are entitled to be treated in the public health service in all European Countries, including Switzerland, while on holiday
The card, which remains valid for five years, is free and people can apply for it online or at their local HSE office.
