Fathers’ rights group appeal to UN Commissioner
09/06/2006 - 15:34:08The Unmarried Fathers of Ireland are to send a submission to the UN High Commissioner on the Rights of the Child.
Members of the group travelled to Geneva this week to raise awareness about what they say is a violation of their rights.
The organisation claims the Irish Government is preventing them for caring for their children.
They held a demonstration outside the UN offices and met the Commissioner to highlight their concerns.
