ISEQ ends week on a high
09/06/2006 - 18:12:12The ISEQ was back in the black today, adding 116.39 to close at 7305.81.
Most of the financials fared well, particularly AIB, who climbed an impressive 69c to €18.20. There was also a strong showing from Irish Life & Permanent, who gained 60c to €18. Shares in Anglo Irish Bank are 30c up to €11.40.
Bank of Ireland, however, lost 12c to €13.58, despite a positive start.
Investors also favoured the construction sector, with CRH the biggest winner. Shares in the building firm gained 47c to €23.94.
