100,000 students to begin Leaving and Junior Cert exams
07/06/2006 - 07:29:26More than 100,000 students are due to take their seats in exam halls across the country this morning for the start of this year's Leaving and Junior Cert exams.
The exams begin with English paper one, followed by paper two this afternoon.
For the first time, Latvian, Lithuanian, Hungarian and Slovakian are also being offered as part of this year's exams.
Pupils are being advised to approach the day in a relaxed and positive manner.
