EasyJet gets flights boost
07/06/2006 - 07:40:48No-frills airline easyJet said today that its positive Easter performance had continued into May after it flew 2.94 million passengers last month.
The figure, which represented a 15.2% hike on a year earlier, was in line with expectations and came after the airline introduced several new routes.
The company added that its planes were marginally less full, as load factors fell in line with forecasts by 0.1% to 83.9% in May.
