Odyssey tested after Chantilly run
06/06/2006 - 10:55:41Olympian Odyssey has undergone tests after running well below form in the Prix du Jockey-Club at Chantilly on Sunday.
Barry Hills’ colt bypassed the Vodafone Derby on Saturday in preference to the French Classic but could only trail home 12th behind Darsi.
“He didn’t run at all well. We don’t know why, he just didn’t run a race,” owner Bill Gredley told the Racing Post.
“We have had him dope-tested and blood-tested to see if he had something on him. Jamie Spencer said he didn’t have a horse after two furlongs – there was nothing he could put his finger on.”
