DMX: I'm changing my name
04/06/2006 - 10:39:48Rapper DMX is planning to change his name because he is concerned with its spiritual implications.
DM stands for Dark Man, and the hip-hop star, real name Earl Simmons, fears he may be attracting bad vibes with the sombre title.
He says: "I think I am going to have to change that soon for spiritual reasons.
"It's just the whole 'Dark Man' thing. If you look at it from a spiritual point of view, the Bible teaches us we can speak things into existence.
"And Dark Man may not be the best name for me."
