Young Wicklow man becomes third Irish victim of vCJD
02/06/2006 - 07:50:13A 20-year-old man has reportedly become the third Irish victim of the human form of mad cow disease.
Reports this morning said the Co Wicklow man had died from variant CJD last month following a deterioration in his condition.
He was diagnosed with the illness around a year ago.
A 24-year-old Dublin man also died from vCJD last year, while an Offaly woman died from the disease in 1999.
