The original Poseidon Adventure is here, unnecessarily re-made virtually frame-by-frame in a disappointing manner which leaves us wanting to re-watch the l972 version.
The story concerns a group of passengers trying to escape from an upturned luxury liner after being struck by a massive wave.
Danger and death lurk at every turn, cowards and heroes emerge along the way … it’s exciting enough, though a stronger screenplay would have been welcome, as would stronger characters.
