Almodovar Collection showcases director in his prime

Now the Pedro Almodovar Collection Volume 2 (Optimum, €59.95) brings together four of his films — Law of Desire, Matador, Flower of My Secret and Kika — although Flower of My Secret is easily the best.
While these early films were met with some criticism for their perceived bad taste, they remain essential to any understanding of the Spanish genius who is best known for such outstanding works as Tie Me Up Tie Me Down, All About My Mother and Talk To Her.
