Former FF TD failed to declare £3,000 in donations
01/06/2006 - 13:20:02The Mahon Tribunal has heard that former Fianna Fáil TD GV Wright failed to declare almost £3,000 in donations from a leading property firm to the party's inquiry into election funds.
Mr Wright received £300 from Monarch Properties in June 1991, £2,000 in December 1992 and £500 in June 1999.
The company says Mr Wright requested all of this money, but the former Dublin North TD says this is not true.
Monarch paid a further £1,000 to Mr Wright in November 1992, which he did declare, and also gave £1,000 to Fianna Fáil in June 1997 which was addressed to former TD.
