ISEQ up as financials have mixed day
The ISEQ index closed up 35.29 points today at 7641.15.
Bank of Ireland surged 67c (5%) to €14.15. Irish Life & Permanent was up 5c at €18.85.
Anglo Irish Bank, the day’s busiest share, was down 2c at €12.17. Allied Irish Bank slipped 1c to €18.68.
Following gains yesterday, Kingspan fell 44c (3.1%) to €13.52.
Readymix was up 5c (2.2%) at €2.31, following its appointment of a new finance director.
CRH slipped 43c (1.6%) to €25.87.
Irish Continental was up 30c (2.8%) to €10.85.
Food and beverage group C&C gained 15c (2.2%) to €6.85. Kerry Group slipped 27c (1.5%) to €17.23.
Paddy Power was down 24c (1.6%) at €14.45.
Tullow Oil gained 3c to €5.34. The company made all the necessary declarations to the stock exchange with regard to the appointment of new director David Williams.
