Injury scare for Alonso

The Liverpool star was forced to abandon training today with a leg strain and is awaiting news on the injury, which forced him to miss a six-a-side game.
Chelsea full-backs Asier del Horno and Real Madrid’s Michel Salgado were the other players unable to train.
Del Horno underwent tests on a calf injury this morning in Valencia and the results will be crucial in determining whether he will be able to travel to Germany.
