New North-South electricity link announced
30/05/2006 - 14:19:34A major new development in electricity infrastructure was announced today by Northern Ireland Electricity and ESB National Grid.
Plans are in place to build a new North-South electricity interconnector.
The project is expected to cost approximately €180m.
It is expected to be operational by the end of 2012.
