Tralee Sunday card cancelled
27/05/2006 - 11:32:19Tralee’s meeting on Sunday has been cancelled due to a waterlogged track.
Officials at the Irish venue were set to inspect the course on Sunday morning but another night of heavy rain left the situation untenable.
“There was no point in delaying the obvious and the incessant showers meant parts of the course were unraceable,” reported Irish Turf Club press officer Cliff Noone.
Saturday’s meeting at Tralee also fell foul to the adverse conditions following an inspection on Thursday.
