Kylie agrees to play Glastonbury 07
26/05/2006 - 10:56:26Kylie Minogue will make a spectacular return to Britain's Glastonbury festival next summer - two years after cancer forced her to cancel her headline show.
The petite poptress pulled out of 2005's event after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Now disease-free and ready to make a pop comeback, Minogue is thrilled to sign up for the seminal event.
"Kylie is definitely going to be the Sunday night headliner," said festival organiser Michael Eavis. "We want her to do all the stuff she did on her Showgirl tour with the fairies and the trapeze."
"I'm worried it's too early for her, but she's really keen.
"Her people said they don't even need a contract - a handshake is enough."
