Bus explosion kills three in Kashmir capital

An explosion blew up a bus carrying Indian tourists in Kashmir’s capital today, killing two women and a child soon after.

Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh had just left the city after two days of talks.

Seven others were wounded in the explosion that occurred when the tourist bus was passing a neighbourhood just outside Srinagar, the state’s summer capital, said police officer Mohammed Shuja.
