Kilkenny wait on Power
Kilkenny forward Richie Power is still nursing a dead leg injury he picked up in the National League final against Limerick last month.
A scan on his leg earlier in the week showed up possible bone damage for the 20-year-old, which must concern Kilkenny boss Brian Cody ahead of his side's Leinster SHC semi-final against Westmeath on June 10.
Power will miss his club Carrickshock's league game this weekend. He could be in recovery for another two to three weeks, and might not be fully fit for the Cats' clash with the Lakesiders.
Cody's panel resume training next week. Both Noel Hickey and Eoin Reid are battling hamstring injuries, although former Allstar Hickey is eyeing up a quick return to the fray this Saturday.
Ballyhale youngster Reid is expected to return in two to three weeks' time.
