Vodafone acquire Telsim assets
25/05/2006 - 09:45:24Vodafone Group has today announced that it has completed the acquisition of the assets of Telsim from the Turkish Savings and Deposit Insurance Fund.
Telsim is Turkey's second-biggest GSM operator, with a market share of approximately 21.4% as of June 2005.
Mobile telecommunications group Vodafone has operations in 27 countries across five continents with 179 million proportionate customers worldwide.
