Jockeys in appeal bid
24/05/2006 - 18:07:45Neil Callan and Shane Kelly will both face the disciplinary panel of the Horseracing Regulatory Authority tomorrow as they appeal against riding bans.
Callan is contesting the two-day suspension he received for careless riding aboard Granny Peel when winning in the Homezone Hot Shots Claiming Stakes at Wolverhampton earlier this month.
His hearing begins at 9.30am.
Kelly’s hearing is due to start at 10.30am when he will try to overturn a three-day ban incurred on Skye Boat Song, who finished unplaced in the Kempton For Outdoor Events Top Banded Stakes at the Sunbury track.
