UUP MEP calls for end to cross border EU spending
24/05/2006 - 16:30:55The North's UUP MEP Jim Nicholson has called for a halt to all cross border EU spending because unionists are inadequately represented on the management board.
Mr. Nicholson said the Irish Central Border Area Network should be suspended until unionist under representation is resolved.
The Network includes five councils on either side of the border and manages how €25m is spent.
