Leinster close to sealing deal
23/05/2006 - 14:34:35Leinster are in contractual negotiations with Australian World Cup winner Owen Finegan and hope to conclude a deal later this week.
He would join fellow Wallaby Chris Whitaker and Munster's Stephen Keogh and Trevor Hogan as part of coach Michael Cheika's plan to stengthen Leinster's Squad.
The following players have been conferred with Development Contracts and places in the Leinster Academy:
Development contracts – John Wickham, Jonathan Sexton, Devin Toner, Kevin McLaughlin, Ross McCarron and Stephen Grissing, Richie Leyden and Robert Sweeney
Leinster Academy – Cian Healy, Luke Fitzgerald, Vasya Artemiev, Cian Culleton, Gavin O’Meara, Conor McInerney, Ian Keatley, James Power, Cian McNaughton and Fergus McFadden
