Networks reject Cattrall comedy
23/05/2006 - 13:51:28US TV networks have rejected a sitcom executively produced by Elton John and starring former 'Sex And The City' star Kim Cattrall.
The show, 'Him and Us', was to have followed the life of a gay rock star and his entourage. The character Max Flash would have been based on a mix of various flamboyant musicians including Elton.
'Little Britain' star Anthony Head was set to play the lead, and Mick Jagger was also reported to have been lined up to make recurring appearances. Elton also wrote the theme tune and a pilot was made for ABC. However, the show will not be made into a series, a spokesman for the singer confirmed.
