Sligo races cancelled due to waterlogged course
22/05/2006 - 09:21:36Tomorrow's race meeting at Sligo has been cancelled as a result of adverse weather conditions in the last 24 hours.
The decision to abandon the meeting was taken after an inspection this morning found the track was too waterlogged for racing.
Tonight's races at Kilbeggan had already been called off as a result of the torrential rain that affected several sporting fixtures yesterday.
