Heather Mills cancels Dublin book signing
Heather Mills has cancelled a planned appearance at Easons bookstore in Dublin this weekend to sign copies of her new book, it emerged tonight.
The former model and her husband ex-Beatle Paul McCartney announced their divorce last week after four years of marriage.
Mills was due to sign copies of her new self-help book ’Equilibrium’ at Easons, O’Connell Street on Saturday at 12.30pm.
However publishers Penguin Books Ltd contacted the bookseller last Friday to say the publicity tour had been postponed.
Easons general manager Martin Black said today: “I wasn’t surprised given her difficulties. We were due to receive copies of the book this week but they haven’t arrived. I think everything is on hold for the moment.”
Mills was also being lined up for a guest appearance on the Late Late Show.
According to Penguin, the book outlines Mill’s holistic approach to well-being and includes chapters on confidence-boosting, simple meditation techniques, nutrition and how to fit exercise into a hectic lifestyle.
“Put the keys together and unlock the vibrant inner you,” the publisher’s blurb adds.
McCartney, who wed Ms Mills in Castle Leslie in Co Monaghan in June 2002, blamed media intrusion for their split which he insisted was mutual and amicable.
