Bono tells African leaders to fight corruption

U2 frontman Bono has told African finance ministers that they must fight corruption on the continent.

Speaking at a conference in Nigeria today, the singer and campaigner said African political leaders needed to strive for "more transparency, not more bribes".

Bono, who is on a 10-day trip to Africa, also called on western nations to keep their pledges of debt relief, malaria eradication and education for African nations.
