Rain forces cancellation of Gowran and Navan
21/05/2006 - 11:05:00Today’s race meeting at Gowran Park has been abandoned due to waterlogging on the Co Kilkenny course.
The day’s racing has also been called off due to the adverse weather conditions.
Navan does, however, go ahead.
There is to be an inspection at the Sligo course tomorrow morning at 8am ahead of Tuesday’s meeting there. Heavy rain has also rendered the course there untraceable.
