EU Parliament approves 2007-13 budget
17/05/2006 - 10:57:23The European Parliament today approved the European Union’s multi-billion euro budget for 2007-2013, ending months of wrangling with European Union governments and averting a funding crisis.
The Strasbourg assembly voted 418-187 in favour of the €864.4bn package.
It mean member governments can start allocating money to EU-funded projects for the seven-year period.
