Gardaí appeal for fatal car crash witnesses

Gardaí in Laois are appealing for witnesses to a fatal crash this morning

A 19-year-old man was killed in the two car collision.

He was the driver of a car which crashed into a tree and went on fire.

The incident happened on the N7 at Clonboyne, Portlaoise at 8am.

The other car crashed into a ditch. Its driver received non-life threatening injuries.
