91-year-old man dies in Donegal housefire
15/05/2006 - 13:54:32An elderly man has died in an overnight fire at his house in Ballybofey, Co Donegal.
The blaze was spotted by a neighbour shortly before 6am, but fire crews were unable to rescue the occupant as the roof of the building had already collapsed by the time they arrived.
The dead man has been named locally as 91-year-old Jimmy Joe Patton.
