Insurance firms unveil new weapon to tackle fraud
15/05/2006 - 12:06:18Insurance firms have unveiled a new weapon in their fight against fraudulent claims.
The companies are introducing a new computer system that will increase their ability to check the claims history of individual clients.
The system was unveiled today by the Insurance Industry Federation, which said it would help insurance firms to identify people who may be making spurious compensation claims.
