Domain registry announces €865,000 profit
15/05/2006 - 10:27:15The company operating Ireland's domain registry service IE Domain Registry Ltd (IEDR) has announced after-tax operating profits of €865,000 for 2005.
New registrations of .ie domains were up by 36.8% in 2005, IEDR said today. Turnover was €2.36m, up by 5.9% .
IEDR boss David Curtin said: "I am pleased to report that the IE Domain Registry's (IEDR) financial and operational performance was very strong in 2005, growing net assets to €804,000, growing the .ie domain space by 26% as well as introducing our most significant price reduction yet."
