Three changes for Monaghan
Monaghan manager Seamus McEneaney has made three changes to his side for Sunday's Ulster SFC quarter-final tussle with Armagh (Clones, throw-in 3.30pm).
The Farney men lost last time out to Cork in in their ill-fated National League campaign - they were relegated from Division 1A. Ahead of their third championship clash with Armagh in four seasons, the experienced trio of Gary McQuaid, Raymond Ronaghan and James McElroy have all been recalled to the Monaghan line-up.
McQuaid, who is back from a shoulder injury, replaces Donal Morgan at right corner back, while Ronaghan, who was dropped from the panel last year, comes in for Paul McGuigan in the full-forward line. McGuigan limped out of last week's 2-13 to 1-12 challenge match win against Meath - a game in which both Ronaghan and McElroy impressed.
McElroy, Monaghan's top scorer in last year's championship, has been named at left half-forward. The Drumhowan clubman is an indirect replacement for defender Keith Sheerin, who loses his right half-back berth to versatile team captain Damien Freeman - a centre forward for McEneaney against Cork.
Monaghan last beat Armagh in the first round of the 2003 Ulster championship. Sunday's winners will face Antrim or Fermanagh in the semi-final on June 11.
