Godolphin off the mark
12/05/2006 - 16:19:12Godolphin registered their first success of the season when Abhisheka ran out a smooth winner at Nottingham.
The 15-8 favourite stormed to the front over a furlong out in the hands of Kerrin McEvoy and went on to score by three and a half lengths from Chalentina.
The three-year-old filly is impeccably bred, being a half-sister to the brilliant Lammtarra, winner of the Derby, King George and Arc de Triomphe in 1995.
