Jobs fair seeks to attract Dublin workers to the west
11/05/2006 - 13:52:57The Western Development Commission (WDC) is holding a jobs fair in Dublin today in an effort to attract more workers to the west of the country.
The organisation says more than 600 positions will be on offer at the event, mostly in the professional, financial and pharmaceutical sectors.
The WDC says workers who relocate from Dublin to the west can expect a better quality of life, similar salaries and cheaper property prices.
