Kingspan confirms talks with insulation group
09/05/2006 - 07:57:41Kingspan has confirmed it is in talks with the owners of the Hytherm/Xtratherm Group regarding the ISEQ-listed company’s potential acquisition of the group.
Hytherm/Xtratherm is an Irish and UK-based manufacturer of rigid insulation board.
Discussions are ongoing with a proposed consideration in the region of €85m. However, Kingspan stresses there is no certainty that these discussions will lead to a successful conclusion, and any final agreement with the owners would be subject to the approval of the Competition Authority.
