FG selects third election candidate for Longford-Westmeath
04/05/2006 - 12:39:46Fine Gael has selected a third candidate to contest the next general election in the Longford-Westmeath constituency.
The party said today that its executive council had decided to add Mullingar-based accountant Peter Burke to its list of candidates in the constituency.
The 23-year-old, a former campaign worker for outgoing TD Paul McGrath, will stand alongside party colleagues James Bannon and Nicky McFadden.
