03/05/2006 - 10:35:36
Police in the North have arrested a 57-year-old man in connection with the murder of a pensioner five years ago.

The man was detained in Coleraine, Co Derry, this morning on suspicion of withholding information about the murder of Norman Moffatt.

The 73-year-old died two months after he was stabbed in Coleraine in January 2001.

The PSNI believes he was a victim of mistaken identity and the intended target was a local paedophile.

The killing was featured on the Crimewatch television programme last month.
