Hanks daunted by Da Vinci code
03/05/2006 - 08:24:52Tom Hanks was daunted by the task of bringing The Da Vinci Code to the big screen, because everyone is an expert on the best-selling novel.
The star, who plays Harvard University symbologist Robert Langdon, is keen to cause a strong reaction amongst fans - be it positive or divided
He explains: "We're hoping to cause a real rift in the audience - we either want universal acclaim or fist fights in the lobby after. Either one of those (reactions) is good for the film."
